The Art Criticism Process consists of 4 parts: Describe the art (what do you see), Analyze the art (list the elements), Interpret the art (What is the mood), and judge the art (What do you think). The piece shows two planes from different eras. It is a pencil drawing with shaded details. The art has a feeling of suspense because it makes you think how these two planes got there. I think that I could've made some lines and arcs look better over all. Art is anything people find enjoyable whether that is a painting, piece of music, or a sculpture it is all art. This piece is an illustrated version of an edited picture of my sister. I've known her for all of my life and he is a pretty important person to me. When i took the picture we were just sitting on the couch watching tv or something and we were just bugging each other by taking pictures of each other and this one turned out really well. I personally would say this is my most successful project because I achieved the look I was shooting for I wanted the shadows to look almost exactly like the real object and I think I mostly achieved that. The theme of the project was to illustrate something in the room using pen, pencil or chalk pastel. I chose to use pen as my medium and I drew the areas of shadow and where the gradients would be and them I started filling in with my pen.
